The above vehicle is a permanent residence for some group of individual(s) in Eugene, OR. If you're interested in the socialogical effects that cause Eugene to have a high population of permanent car campers (approx 5,000 car campers in a city of 120,000) please visit my postcards page and read the various postcards/photoessays that have Eugene in them (most of them.) Not that you'll believe me unless you come out here and I show it to you first hand (I just gave the tour of the Anarchist district to another doubting Thomas.)

Anyway you weren't coming to this page so I could rant at you about how Eugene is some strange drug induced dream of what the 60's in Berkley were about. The residence in photo below is one of the most amazing pieces of artwork I've ever seen in a portable living unit. If you have an ounce of Romany blood in you you'll see what I mean.
