Crowd shot. Background
the Gasworks (with the Flag flying.) The park was packed, probably 100,000
people out for the show, it was standing room only. However, it was a nice
happy crowd and a cool Seattle evening (we all wore jackets & I brought an
extra blanket to wear for warmth.)
The fireworks are
being fired over the boats in the harbor (dimly seen in the lower half of most
of the pictures.) On the far right edge is the Space Needle. Center back is
downtown.
The yachts, sailboats,
kayaks etc. can be pretty clearly seen in this shot. They had two levels of
fireworks, the low altidude displays (the rockets just left of center) and the
high altitude stuff (the ball center and top.)
They had superb color
work (above) and a fire fountain going (lower.)
