Next to Gameworks (the
Entertainment Palace built by Dream Works is the World of M&M.
Gameworks is amazing. They have restored Space Invaders, Missle Command,
Gorf and others (new case, old software.) After an EXTENSIVE tour of the
LV arcades in most of the casinos I can definatively state they do not
have a Classic Star Wars machine. However, there is a new version out
(Gameworks has one.) It's a two player (gunner & pilot)same game.
Rampage II is out, smae good look and feel.

We toured the MGM
Grand. In addition to an amuesment park they have a Monorail.

Continuing efforts
at cleanliness.

The Stratosphere
Casino. The top needle has a Free Fall in it. Wrapping around the dome is
a rollercoaster. This is the 4th tallest building in the U.S. just after
the Empire State Building.

Treasure Island
Casino. One of the Galleons they use in their Naval Battles.

Ships Helm.

Animatronic, circa
Pirates of the Caribean.
We spent a lot of the day at Wet n Wild (a large Water Park.) It was mostly deserted and was lots of fun. Demaris had never been to one before. They've made great advances including a 3ft high speed river people mover to get around the park. They had a really cool centrifugal force ride (they get you're speed up then let you spin around in a half ball for a while. Sorry no pictures but there was no way to deal with the camera.
We leave Vegas tommorow morning. We've seen most of the major casino, have a good feel for them and did a demographic study both for target audience and actual attendees. If you'd like info on any of the casinos please ask.
