Farmland and an expo
hall (background) for some little town between Austin and Dallas.

Whataburger. I have a
theory that each major city creates its own Burger Place (Zesto's in
Atlanta.) Whataburger is the SE Texas one. I used to eat there when I
lived in Houston. They have fountain IBC!

More farmland. We saw
a lot today; so will you.

Dallas. (DA, DA, da
DA da da DA DA...)

Grassy Knoll where
JFK was shot (his motorcade was very close to the position of the car in
the image, about 2 feet in front.) The crowd ran toward the far knoll
(center + back) that's also where the "third" shot is reputed by
many to have come from.

The building where
the Oswald fired his shots from. Sixth floor window far right, partially
open. He fired across the length of the building. The reason for the
questions about the third shot, is the far knoll (from above) is set on
the left side of this building (giving an entirely different bullet
angle.)

This shot and #2-#4
are taken from the ground in the middle of Thanksgiving Plaza in downtown
Dallas, I didn't move just rotated 90' for each new shot. It shows all the
big shiny glass towers (repeat the music from above.)

Denton drive-by. The
Home of Happiness.

More ranches from
Dallas to Witchita Falls. BTW 620AM is a strong
Radio Disney station
out of Dallas.
We decided to cut our stay in Dallas short because 1) It is way hot. 98' and no shade. 2) For some strange reason they have closed their water park (the biggest in the country.) 3) They have a life-like replica of Mary Kay available for viewing by reservation only. The tunnels criss-crossing downtown Dallas are really cool (and useful.) Apparently at some point in Dallas history they realized that a) It is way hot. b) For some strange reason they have closed their water park. c) They have a life-like replica of Mary Kay. They dug tunnels connecting all their downtown buildings to avoid these things.
Finally, the ranches outside of Dallas really do look like Southfork. Big Mansions sometimes viewable from the road with cattle grazing and the big sign over the entrance.
