Hi All,

Follows are some pictures (and of course commentary :-) from Demaris and Jay's Spring Break 2000 trip to Victoria, BC. Hope you enjoy them.

Our first stop was on the Oregon Coast at the Sea Lion Caves, just north of Florence, OR.

The Sea Lion Caves is this giant cave where several hundred sea lions have made their home. The rock is very hard (volcanic) and the cave itself is under US 101. The water which has hollowed out the cave is the Pacific Ocean.

This is a view of the coast where the Sea Lion Caves are. The building in the foreground houses a 200 ft elevator that goes into the cave.
