Hi Vladimir, Under the concepts that they are using for the bombings (anything that is used by the military is a target) the power plants are a valid target. With that said there is the proportions issue and I think that if they keep the power out, that does cause harm to the civilian population out of proportion to it's military benefits (and hence is against the Geneva Conventions). Long term power outages would clearly cause grevious harm as it would destroy the sewage/water purification systems. >Can I have your oppinion on bombing of power plants? There is nothing >military whatsoever about power plants - they are pure civilian objects, >making civilised life as you or I know it possible - electricity, >running water and so on. Did you hear that another Apache crashed? This is relevant (I think) as it may send a message (it does to me) that there are some underlying weaknesses in the US Army (I'm making the distinction between the branches of service.) Clinton has ravaged the budget of the Army and it is showing to those aware of these things - certainly his advisors. The question is if he knows enough/cares enough to understand what that means. Also, it looks like in the continued media show they will release the 2 Serbian prisoners... -Jay
